Equipped for the extraordinary: the BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo offers outstanding design highlights to set itself apart from the crowd. The reshaped kidney grille and BMW Laserlight define the dynamic design of the front. Equipment options such as the M sport brake with dark blue or red brake callipers provide a distinctive eye-catcher in the side profile while ensuring best possible deceleration values. And trapezoidal tailpipe trims underline the sporting character of the rear with its accentuated breadth. Front ornamental grilles.
The large one-piece front ornamental grille – also known as the BMW kidney grille – is a characteristic design feature that ensures a very present and dynamic appearance of your vehicle. The colouring of the vertical slats and the surrounding ring varies depending on the equipment line.
BMW Laserlight.
In laser high-beam mode, BMW Laserlight illuminates a range of up to 650 m, nearly twice as far as that of conventional headlights. Better visibility in the dark significantly increases safety. Blue accents and the lettering “BMW Laser” in the headlight also underline the technological standards and the sportiness of the vehicle.
M Sport brake.
The M Sport brake has four-piston fixed callipers at the front and single-piston floating callipers at the rear in blue with the M designation and features large brake discs to ensure an outstanding braking performance.

Panorama glass roof.
When open, the Panorama glass roof provides a great deal of fresh air. Closed, it creates a bright, light-flooded atmosphere in the interior. It opens and closes completely automatically at the push of a button or with the vehicle key, and is equipped with slide and lift functions, roller sunblind and wind deflector.

In combination with an efficient and balanced 6-cylinder diesel engine or the free-revving and high-torque 6-cylinder petrol engine, this eliminates any possible obstacles to your sheer driving pleasure on short or long journeys.

Commanding power, silky-smooth running and a stirring sound are the hallmarks of the BMW TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder petrol engine from the new generation of the BMW EfficientDynamics engine range. With Double-VANOS, Valvetronic, High-Precision Injection and a TwinScroll turbocharger, it generates 245 kW (333 hp).

The intelligent BMW xDrive all-wheel drive system smoothly and variably distributes drive power to the front and rear wheels for maximum traction, driving dynamics and safety in every driving situation. For even better agility, the electronically controlled power distribution for instance counterbalances oversteer or understeer on bends.
Adaptive 2-axle air suspension.
The Adaptive 2-axle air suspension ensures extremely comfortable driving with great driving dynamics. Unlike steel suspension, air suspension consists of air-filled rubber pads that keep the vehicle evenly elevated – regardless of the driving mode and even when carrying a heavy load – as the air pressure inside the pads is constantly adjusted.
Integral Active Steering.
Integral Active Steering combines support that varies based on the steering angle on the front axle, and rear wheels that also contribute to steering. At lower speeds, it offers greater manoeuvrability and agility by turning the rear wheels opposite the front wheels. Beginning around 60 to 80 km/h, the rear wheels turn parallel to the front wheels, to increase driving stability and comfort.
Executive Drive.
The Executive Drive suspension control system ensures exceptional driving comfort and outstanding driving dynamics at the same time. The system is based on active stabilizers that electro-mechanically regulate suspension continually during the journey, thereby minimising the movement of the car body.

Reversing assistant.
The Reversing Assistant stores the last 50 m of the driven path in forward travel up to 35 km/h, so that it can be retracted if required. You are relieved of the steering work and can concentrate on monitoring the vehicle environment.
